Regarding X10SRL, In user manual, it mentions that the 10 x SATA3 ports is 6 xiSATA and 4 x sSATA, what are the difference between these two? Any reason that RAID array and volume(s) cannot span across the two (AHCI and sSATA) controllers ? |

Answer |
It seems that the AHCI and SCU ports are different. The naming on X10SRA is I-SATA(AHCI) and S-SATA(SCU). They all come from same Intel chipset but different controller inside. So cannot configure RAID cross controllers. |
