1.  I plug in 4GB of memory into my P8SAA board but Windows XP only shows 3GB of memory. Everything works fine but why does Windows shows only 3GB of memory?
2. Windows requires a floppy disk to load the driver with the F6 key. My server does not have a regular floppy so I tried to use a USB floppy. Now the Windows load is stopping after formatting the hard drive partition and asking for the driver file, but it can not read it from the floppy. What can I do?
3. I can’t find the Windows Server 2008 32/64bit driver for X7DBE+ on your website. Where are the RAID and other drivers located?
4. I have a X7DCA-3 board and I cannot install VMWare because it does not recognize my SAS hard drives. What is the issue?
5. What is the difference between SuperDoctor III and IPMI?
6. I just got my SuperServer 7043P-8R. I have completed installing the processors, memory and hard drives. When the Power is applied, the system BIOS displays and everything on it looks good but there is very loud alarm buzzer ON and I thought the power supply had gone bad. But all the LED’s on power supply are lit green which I believe means the Power Supply is good. Any suggestion on what may be causing the alarm trigger ON and how I can turn OFF the alarm?
7. Does the SATA RAID in the P4SCI, P4SCT, P4SCT+, P4SCT+II support the Linux operating system?
8. What are the other differences between Nehalem-EP and Bloomfield cores?

10. I have installed 4GB of memory on my E7505 board, but in Windows under "My Computer" and the in the task manager I only see 3GB?

6. Are all Supermicro motherboards UL certified? We searched the Supermicro website and found no mention of UL. Or, are your boards designed to "pass" UL? I did a little research and boards that are designed to pass UL have 94V0, 94V2 or 94VHB marked on the board. (05/04/2012)
7. I'm planning to buy a SC432T-665B and I want to build a quiet workstation. In Chassis's spec, it's called "Super Quiet". If I'm right, it applies to PSU not to the whole Chassis. For this reason, I think I need to buy FAN-0104L4. (Please, correct me, if I'm wrong). Can I order this Chassis without FAN-0074L4 fans or with FAN-0104L4 instead default loud fans? (05/04/2012)
8. We would like to install 2 x Intel E5-2690 on Supermicro 6017R-TDF. On your website at: http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/1U/6017/SYS-6017R-TDF.cfm The 6017R-TDF is rated at max 115W per processor, while the E5-2690 has a max 135W. Is it still possible to install 2 x Intel E5-2690 on Supermicro 6017R-TD, or you do NOT recommend doing this? (05/04/2012)
9. I have purchased some used components to build a workstation. Super Micro X7DCA-L 2- 4GB memory modules (hymp151P72cp4-y5) 2- Xeon X5472 processors I can’t get the board to post. Is the Intel x5472 processor compatible with this board. I am trying to trouble shoot the problem. I think the board might be bad. I have tried 2 sets of Ram and intermittently got no Ram long beeps when I power it on. However sometimes it just sits there and doesn’t pass video, I am wondering if the board won't run the CPUs since they are 1600mhz FSB. (05/04/2012)
10. I am trying to determine if my understanding is correct that this motherboard (X8DTT-HF) can only take 48GB memory Per manual : Memory Twelve 240-pin DIMM sockets support up to 48 GB of DDR3 Registered ECC • or 24 GB of Un-buffered ECC/Non-ECC 1333/1066/800 MHz Memory (with max. 4 GB of Registered ECC and 2 GB of Un-buffered memory per DIMM slot.) (See Section in Chapter 2 for DIMM Slot Population.) I already have 6 x 8GB = 48GB total, was interested to see if I could add 6 x 8GB more modules for a total of 92GB, in case there was a newer revision of the motherboard firmware that would allow something like that. (I currently have rev2.0) (05/04/2012)
